3 Day Road Trip with Marcus and Steve
With tours stopped for a month while the air clears from the pollution caused from forest controlled burning, it gave Marcus, Steve and myself a chance to take out our new Kawasaki ER6 tour bikes and put them through their paces.
We did a 800km 3 day ride from Chiang Mai to Pha Yao, Phu-Chi-Fa, Mae Sai, Chiang Rai and back. The 650cc engines didn’t disappoint, the power more than enough to handle the tight mountain range roads the Golden Triangle is renowned for.
