3 Day, 2 Nights Along the Thai/Burmese Border
This tour is suitable to all 4 models of our motorcycles
Day 1
We ride curvaceous undulating asphalt mountain roads. The temperature drops as we spiral to Altitudes of 2200m above sea level and traverse across the mountain ridge border that separates Thailand form Burma.

The day is filled with escarpment views, forest and extraordinary
people as we pass through many hill tribe villages of Akha, Palong and Lisu people. We will also come across numerous soldier camps from
Thai, Burmese and Shan State Armies.
Our final destination tonight will be the village of Thaton in a modern mini resort set by the Kok River beneath the Buddhist mountain
temples.

Day 2
For those of you who wake at dawn we will make up the mountain to Wat Thaton temple and watch the glorious sunrise after which we will assemble with the others for breakfast and make our way to Mae Sai the most northerly point in Thailand. Here you may cross the border into to Burma and visit the manic markets or Long Neck Karen Hill tribe.

After Mai Sai we will ride our way back up into the mountain rising up to Doi Tung and Prathat Temple, then cross through the ex-stomping grounds of freedom fighter / opium warlord Khun Sa. On our way to discover Doi Mae Salong a community of ex-Chinese K.M.T. nestled at 1500m above sea level and our nights rest village.
Day 3
We wind down out of the mountains and onto Chiang Mai on a alternate route soaking up the pleasures of the magnificent roads and beauty of the local rural area.
